Well, the Washington Technology article confirmed what many of us suspected – Leidos had another layoff event on July 13th, impacting 305 employees. Has anyone here been directly affected by this latest round? Or do you know colleagues who were? I'm bracing myself and trying to understand the scope. Was it spread across different sectors, or concentrated in specific areas? I've heard whispers about certain program areas being scaled back, but nothing concrete. Yes, I was impacted. It was a shock, to be honest. The email was brief and didn't offer much explanation beyond a standard severance package. I'm still processing it all and trying to figure out what's next. It does seem like it hit multiple departments, from what I've gathered from colleagues still there.

Heard about this. It's a shame. Leidos has been pretty stable for a while, so this comes as a surprise to many. I don't personally know anyone affected, but I've seen a few posts on LinkedIn indicating it wasn't isolated to one division. Hoping everyone lands on their feet quickly. Tough times in the industry right now.
