Just saw the news about the 305 layoffs at Leidos on July 13th. This is pretty concerning, especially since it seems to be a pretty significant number. Wondering how widespread this might be. I haven't heard anything specific about my team or department yet, but the general unease is definitely setting in. It's hard not to start thinking about job security, even if you're a high performer. Does anyone have any insight into what triggered this, or if there's more on the horizon? Trying to stay positive, but it's tough with this kind of news hanging over us. Any reassurance or shared experiences would be appreciated.

Yeah, this news is definitely unsettling. 305 is a large number, and it's hard not to feel a bit anxious when you see something like that, regardless of your role. I'm also feeling the unease after reading about the Leidos layoffs. It's never good news to hear about significant job cuts at a company you work for.
