Just saw the news about the latest round of layoffs at Leidos, 305 people gone as of July 13th. Honestly, it's pretty unsettling. Feels like every few months there's another wave. I'm in a support role, and while I wasn't directly impacted this time, you start to wonder when it'll be your turn. Is this a sign of bigger issues, or just standard defense contracting churn? Anyone else in a similar boat, feeling the anxiety creep in? It's tough to plan long-term when the ground feels so shaky. Curious to hear if anyone has insights into the specific areas hit or what the company's official line is. Trying to stay positive, but it's getting harder. Stay safe out there, everyone.

Yeah, I feel that anxiety too. It's definitely unnerving seeing these consistent layoffs, especially when you're not directly affected but know people who are. It makes it hard to feel secure in your position, and the uncertainty is the worst part. Hoping for some stability soon, but it's hard to see it right now with these recurring events. Trying to stay focused on my work, but it's always in the back of my mind.
