Linde - Seeing reduced travel and some hiring freezes?

Curious if anyone else is observing a noticeable slowdown in non-essential spending? My department had its travel budget slashed for the remainder of the year, and I know of at least two critical roles that have been open for months with no traction on filling them. It's not a formal hiring freeze announcement, but the practical effect seems to be the same. I'm trying to gauge if this is a company-wide trend or specific to certain divisions. Haven't heard anything concrete about layoffs, but these cost-saving measures definitely feel like precursors. Anyone else seeing similar things in their areas? Trying to get a sense of the overall climate before things potentially get worse. Just want to be prepared.
