Live Nation: Anyone else notice hiring freeze whispers?

Been seeing some odd things lately at Live Nation. The usual channels for open positions seem a lot quieter, and I've heard from a couple of managers that new headcount approvals are suddenly on hold, or at least heavily scrutinized. It's not official, no big announcement or anything, but the vibe is definitely shifting. This comes after a period where things felt pretty stable, so it's a noticeable change. Makes you wonder if there's something brewing internally. Is it a proactive measure before a bigger shake-up, or just a standard budget review? I'm trying not to jump to conclusions, but the lack of transparency is making people anxious. Anyone else picking up on this, or have any intel about hiring freezes or recruitment slowdowns? Trying to get a read on the situation before things get more serious.

I've definitely noticed a similar quietness on the internal job boards. It felt like there were always openings popping up, but lately, it's been sparse. Heard some chatter about budget reviews happening across departments, which might explain the slowdown in new hires. Hopefully, it's just a temporary adjustment and not indicative of larger issues.

Interesting you mention that. My team had an informal discussion about it last week – we were expecting to backfill a couple of roles, but those requests got put on the back burner. Management's being cagey about the exact reasons, but a hiring freeze or at least a significant slowdown seems plausible given the current economic climate. Keeping an eye on this.
