Loews: Potential hiring freeze or just slow recruitment?

I've been keeping an eye on job postings at Loews and the pace has definitely slowed to a crawl. Used to see quite a few roles opening up, especially in corporate functions, but lately, it's been very quiet. I'm wondering if this is a strategic hiring freeze or just a typical slow period. My team is understaffed, and we've been trying to backfill a few critical positions for months with no luck. Management is tight-lipped, just saying 'resource constraints.' Makes me wonder if they're bracing for something, or if it's just a conservative approach to hiring right now. Anyone in recruiting or HR at Loews have any insight?

I've noticed the same thing with job postings. It feels like a significant slowdown across the board, not just in one department. The 'resource constraints' excuse is vague enough to cover a lot of ground, but it does suggest some level of belt-tightening.
