Quiet period at Loews - anyone else hearing rumors?

Is it just me, or has the vibe in the office shifted lately? I’ve been with the company for a few years now, and the recent communications from leadership feel a lot more sterile than usual. Usually, we get a bit more color on the strategic direction, but everything is being kept super close to the vest right now. I’m noticing a lot of projects being put on 'indefinite hold' and travel budgets are getting slashed left and right. My manager keeps dodging questions about Q4 hiring plans, which usually isn't a good sign. I’m not saying there’s an imminent purge, but the corporate messaging feels very defensive. Has anyone heard anything through the grapevine about potential restructuring, or are we just entering a typical period of corporate conservatism? Trying to decide if it’s time to start dusting off the resume just in case.
