Anyone else feel like management is extra stressed/on edge?

Hey everyone, been working at Lowe's for a few years now and things have felt... tense lately. It's not just me, right? My store manager and assistant managers seem really on edge, constantly pushing for numbers, micro-managing tasks, and just generally having a shorter fuse than usual. I haven't heard any official word about layoffs or anything concrete, but the atmosphere feels like it's building towards something. Is this just my store, or are others seeing this too? Are they prepping for something, or is this just the usual holiday season pressure amplified? Just trying to gauge if I should be worried or if it's just the general retail grind getting to everyone. Any insights would be appreciated.

Yeah, I'm seeing it too. It feels like the pressure from corporate is just trickling down harder than ever. Every little metric is suddenly the most important thing, and the mood is definitely strained. It's tough to stay motivated when the vibe is constantly anxious. Hoping it's just a temporary crunch period.

Definitely not just your store. My location has been super tense for weeks. Lots of 'urgent' meetings about sales goals and productivity, and the managers are acting like they're walking on eggshells. It's making work pretty unpleasant, honestly. Makes you wonder what's really going on behind the scenes.
