Just saw some chatter online about potential layoffs at Lowe's, something about a significant number of full-time positions. Haven't seen any official confirmation or internal comms yet, but it got me thinking. Is anyone else in a similar boat? Heard anything through the grapevine or seen any unusual activity within the company that might suggest this is happening? My team's been a bit cagey lately, and project scopes seem to be shrinking. It's making me a little nervous, especially with the way the retail market is right now. Curious to hear if anyone has actual insights or is just as much in the dark as I am. Trying to stay calm and focus on my work, but it's hard not to speculate. Wondering if it's widespread or concentrated in certain departments. I've definitely noticed some shifts lately. My store's management has been really tight-lipped about staffing for the next quarter, and we've had a few unexpected shifts in project priorities that don't seem to make much sense otherwise. It's hard not to get a little anxious when things feel uncertain, and I'm definitely keeping an ear out for any more concrete information. Hope it's just a rumor, but the signs are a bit concerning.

Haven't heard anything concrete about layoffs specifically, but there's been a definite push for increased efficiency and a review of operational costs across the board. Budgets feel tighter, and there's been more emphasis on doing more with less. It’s tough to say if that translates to layoffs or just a restructuring, but it does create a bit of unease among the team.
