Lowe's - What's the real situation?

Seeing a lot of chatter online about potential layoffs at Lowe's, with some articles even mentioning specific numbers. Just wondering if anyone here has heard anything more directly, either from management or reliable sources within the company? It's hard to tell what's rumor and what might be true at this point. Feels like a lot of uncertainty, and people are definitely on edge. Trying to get a clearer picture of what might be coming down the pipeline. Has anyone been asked to do more with less recently, or seen any unusual hiring freezes/slowdowns that might indicate something brewing?

Hearing a lot of the same rumors. It's tough to cut through the noise when so much is speculation. My department has definitely been asked to stretch resources further, and the unspoken pressure to maintain productivity without additional support is palpable. It creates a stressful environment when you don't know if your job is secure or if you'll be expected to shoulder even more. Hoping for some clarity soon, but it feels unlikely we'll get it directly. It's all just whispers and guesswork right now.
