Anyone else seeing a shift in how resources are allocated?

Hey everyone, been with Lulu for a few years now and usually, there's a pretty clear vision for where the company is heading, especially with tech investments. Lately, though, I'm feeling a bit of a disconnect. Projects that seemed like strategic priorities are suddenly getting deprioritized or scaled back, while other initiatives seem to be popping up with less clear justification. It's making it hard to plan and feel confident about the long-term direction. Anyone else in engineering or product seeing similar shifts? Is this just a normal business cycle, or is there something bigger happening that I'm not privy to? Trying to understand if I should be concerned about future headcount or just brace for a strategic pivot.

I've noticed something similar from my end, though I'm in a different department. It feels like the 'why' behind some of these shifts isn't being communicated effectively. Resources seem to be pulled in new directions quite suddenly, and it's tough to get a grasp on the overarching strategy when things feel so fluid. Hope there's some clarity coming soon.

Interesting question. I'm on the retail side, and while I don't see the tech investments directly, we've definitely felt the ripple effects. Inventory allocation and product focus seem to be changing faster than usual, which can impact sales targets and team focus. It’s definitely a different vibe lately.
