Yep, feeling it too. I'm in sales support, and our call volume has been noticeably lower, which is usually a bad sign. They keep pushing these 'voluntary separation packages', which to me screams, 'we're about to cut deep and this is your chance to jump before you're pushed'. My advice? Update your resume, start networking, and be prepared for anything. It's better to be proactive than caught off guard.
Honestly, this happens every year. Remember the restructuring talk in 2021? And 2019? It's always the same cycle. People get anxious, rumors fly, then...nothing major happens, just a few folks in redundant roles get let go. I'm not saying to be complacent, but panicking over overheard conversations is just going to stress you out unnecessarily. Focus on your work and try to ignore the noise.
