Anyone else seeing internal restructuring that feels... ominous?

Been with Lumen for about 7 years now, mostly in network ops. Lately, seems like there's been a lot of shuffling around of responsibilities and departments. Different teams are suddenly reporting to new people, and some roles that seemed stable are being merged or dissolved. It's not a formal layoff announcement, but the vibe is definitely 'get your ducks in a row'. Has anyone else noticed this? Feels like a precursor to something bigger. Management isn't saying much beyond 'streamlining operations'. Anyone got any intel on what this actually means?

I've been at Lumen on the enterprise side for about five years, and yeah, I'm picking up the same unsettling signals. It's not just network ops, it seems to be across the board. We've had two 'reorganizations' in the last six months, each time promising greater efficiency and integration, but it mostly just feels like chaos and added pressure. My advice? Document everything. Keep a log of your achievements and responsibilities. It might not feel like much now, but if things do shift, having that record will be invaluable for your own peace of mind and career path, whatever that may be.

Honestly, I'm not sure it's as ominous as some are making it out to be. Companies restructure all the time, especially in the tech sector. Lumen has been through a lot of changes in leadership and strategy over the past few years. This could just be a genuine attempt to streamline operations, consolidate resources, and adapt to market demands. While I understand the anxiety, let's not jump to conclusions without more concrete information. Focus on doing your job well and adapting to the changes as they come. Panicking doesn't usually help anyone.
