Lumen: Anyone else notice the hiring freeze?

Hey all, been at Lumen for a few years now in a technical role. Lately, it feels like the brakes have been slammed on hiring. I haven't seen many new job postings internally or externally for my department, and when I ask around, folks are being tight-lipped. Some teams seem to be holding steady, but others look like they're running on fumes. Is anyone else experiencing this? Are we just in a slow period, or is this the start of something bigger? I'm trying not to panic, but the lack of new blood and the pressure on existing teams is starting to get noticeable. Makes me wonder about future growth and stability. Curious to hear what others are seeing across different departments. Maybe it's just a Q4/early Q1 thing, but it feels different this time. Any insights appreciated.

Yeah, definitely feeling the chill on the hiring front here too. It's not just your department. Been hearing whispers across several teams that requisitions are getting shelved or put on indefinite hold. Makes you wonder about the strategic direction, doesn't it? I've seen similar things. It's creating some real pressure on existing teams that are already stretched thin. Less support, more work. The lack of clarity is the most frustrating part. Are they trying to streamline operations, or is this a reaction to market pressures? Either way, the silence isn't helping morale.
