Lumen: Feeling the squeeze in Operations

Is it just me or is the workload in Operations absolutely insane right now? Feels like we're being asked to do more with less, and the pressure to hit targets is through the roof. I've seen a few senior folks leave recently, not necessarily through layoffs, but voluntary departures, and it's definitely impacting team capacity. Management keeps talking about "efficiency" and "streamlining," which, let's be honest, often translates to job cuts down the line. There's been no official announcement about layoffs, but the continuous push for cost savings and the lack of new headcount is making me nervous. I'm finding it harder to get approvals for resources, even for things that seem critical. Just wanted to see if others in similar roles, especially in the operational side of things, are experiencing this. Is this a sign of things to come, or is this just how things are in telecom right now? Any insights or similar experiences would be appreciated.
