Lumen: Morale hitting a new low?

Honestly, I'm finding it hard to stay positive at Lumen right now. The workload has been insane for months, and it feels like management is either oblivious or just doesn't care. We're being asked to do more with less, and the promises of 'optimizing' and 'streamlining' just seem to translate into more work for us on the ground. There's a constant undercurrent of anxiety. People are whispering about restructuring, budget cuts, and yeah, layoffs, even though nothing official has been announced. It’s creating a really toxic atmosphere where nobody feels secure. I used to be proud to work here, but lately, I'm just counting the days. Has anyone else felt this shift? It's not just my team; I'm hearing similar stories from different parts of the company. Feels like we're just waiting for the other shoe to drop.

Reading this makes me feel less alone. The pressure has been unbearable lately. It's like a constant uphill battle, and the lack of clear communication about the future only adds to the stress. I'm trying to stay focused on my tasks, but the whispers and uncertainty are hard to ignore. Hopefully, things will improve, but it's tough to see a clear path forward right now.

I understand the sentiment completely. The 'more with less' approach is definitely taking its toll. It feels like we're expected to stretch ourselves thinner and thinner without any real support or acknowledgment. The constant talk of potential changes, even unofficial ones, creates a really unstable environment. It's disheartening when you're putting in so much effort and it feels like it's not being valued.
