Lumen: Why are we still doing 'business as usual'?

Is anyone else feeling like management is trying to act like everything is normal while the deck chairs are being rearranged? Every All-Hands meeting feels like a masterclass in corporate fluff. They keep talking about 'transformation' and 'strategic realignment' without actually mentioning what that means for our headcount. I’ve been here long enough to recognize the pattern—the sudden uptick in internal process audits and the weirdly aggressive push to document every single hour of our work. Usually, that’s the precursor to a massive RIF. The lack of transparency is honestly more draining than the actual workload at this point. I’m just trying to figure out if I should start polishing my resume now or wait until the inevitable 'we’ve made the difficult decision' email drops on a Thursday afternoon. Anyone hearing rumblings from middle management or are we all just guessing in the dark?
