I'm getting really anxious about the future at Marathon. There haven't been any official announcements, but the whispers are getting louder. It feels like there's a cloud hanging over us, and nobody knows when or where it might rain. I've seen a couple of people from my team being 'reassigned' to different projects that seem like dead ends, and the usual end-of-year hiring push hasn't materialized. It’s making it hard to focus on my actual work when I'm constantly worried about job security. Is anyone else experiencing this level of unease? I'm not looking for gossip, but if there's any credible information circulating about potential workforce adjustments, please share. The silence from leadership is deafening and frankly, it's making people paranoid.

I hear you. The uncertainty is definitely palpable right now. I've noticed similar things with project reassignments and the quiet hiring freeze. It's tough to stay motivated when you feel like you're constantly looking over your shoulder. Hopefully, we'll get some concrete information soon to ease the speculation. Until then, focusing on delivering excellent work is probably the best strategy we can all adopt.

It's unsettling, isn't it? The lack of communication only fuels the rumors and the anxiety. Seeing colleagues moved to less-than-ideal roles without clear explanations doesn't help either. I'm trying to stay optimistic and focus on my current responsibilities, but it's a daily battle against worry. Fingers crossed management addresses these concerns directly and soon.
