Hey everyone. Been with Marathon for a few years now, and lately, the atmosphere has been... tense. Lots of whispers, people being a bit cagey about projects, and I've noticed some roles that used to be quite stable seem to be consolidating or just gone quiet. No official word on anything, and the company line is always 'business as usual,' but you can feel it. Performance reviews just wrapped up, and while mine was decent, I've heard from a few others that they weren't as positive as expected, even for people who are usually top performers. Wondering if this is just my department or if others are seeing similar trends. Trying to stay positive, but it's hard not to worry a little, especially with how things are in the broader energy sector right now. Anyone else picking up on this? Just looking for some honest takes from folks on the ground.

Completely agree. The subtle shifts are hard to ignore, even if there's no big announcement. You notice the change in how people talk about their work and future projects. It’s more than just typical office chatter; there's a definite feeling of things being less stable than they appear. The performance review feedback you mentioned also adds to the concern that maybe expectations have changed without being clearly communicated to everyone.
