Hey everyone, been working at Marathon for a few years now and lately, the vibe feels… off. I haven't heard any concrete rumors about mass layoffs, but there's definitely been a lot of shuffling in certain departments. Some teams are consolidating, and there's been a freeze on some internal transfers. Makes you wonder if management is just restructuring or if something more significant is on the horizon. Anyone else in different divisions seeing similar things? It's hard to get a straight answer, and honestly, the uncertainty is starting to get to me. Just trying to gauge if this is an isolated feeling or a wider trend. Any insights from people on the inside, even if it's just observations, would be appreciated. I've seen similar consolidation patterns in the downstream operations over the past year. It's definitely more than just a few department changes. The focus seems to be on streamlining processes and, frankly, cutting costs where possible. While there haven't been any official announcements regarding widespread job cuts, the internal restructuring certainly points towards a leaner operational model going forward. It's a tough environment right now, and it's understandable why people are feeling uneasy about the direction things are heading. Keep your ears to the ground.
