Anyone seeing department cuts or project cancellations?

Hey all, been with Marriott for a few years now and things feel... off. Haven't heard any official layoff news, and my direct team is still intact, but I've noticed some project scopes shrinking dramatically. We also had a couple of internal teams quietly 'realigned' last month, which sounds like corporate speak for 'consolidated' or worse. My manager is giving off some stressed vibes too, deflecting direct questions about future headcount. Anyone else in different departments seeing similar signs? Thinking about updating my resume just in case, but hoping it's just a slow season. Curious if this is widespread or just my corner of the org. Let me know what you're hearing.

Yeah, I've definitely felt a shift too. While there haven't been any major announcements, I've seen a couple of our long-term projects get put on indefinite hold, and the budget for new initiatives seems to have dried up overnight. It's creating a lot of uncertainty and makes it hard to plan. My department isn't directly impacted by layoffs yet, but everyone's on edge, wondering what the next shoe to drop will be. It’s a strange atmosphere to work in when you're constantly looking over your shoulder.
