Marriott Internal Mobility - Slowing Down?

Hey everyone, I've been trying to move internally at Marriott for a few months now and it feels like things have really ground to a halt. Used to be, you'd see new postings pop up regularly and hear back within a few weeks. Now, it feels like roles are staying open for ages, and the silence after applying is deafening. Has anyone else in other departments noticed this? Is it just my team, or is there a broader hiring freeze or slowdown happening across the company? Trying to get a sense if I should be worried or just patient. The market outside feels pretty shaky too, so exploring internal options felt like the safest bet, but this is making me a little nervous.

Yeah, I've definitely noticed a similar vibe. It used to be pretty dynamic with internal moves, but lately, it's felt more like a waiting game. I applied for a position a couple of months back and haven't heard anything concrete, which is a change from my previous experiences with Marriott's internal recruitment. It's frustrating when you're eager to grow within the company but the process seems to have stalled. Hoping it picks up soon, or at least that there's some transparency about what's causing the lag.
