Marriott PTO Policy Changes?

Has anyone else seen any rumblings or actual communications about potential changes to our PTO policy at Marriott? My manager was a bit vague in a recent team meeting, mentioning 'optimizations' and 'streamlining benefits.' Honestly, it sounded like corporate speak for 'we're taking something away.' I'm trying to figure out if this is something widespread or just a specific region/department issue. I've checked the internal portal and haven't found anything concrete. Feels like they're trying to slip it in quietly. Anyone have actual info or confirmation on this?

Yeah, I heard some similar whispers a few weeks back. 'Streamlining' is definitely a red flag. My gut tells me it's probably company-wide, they usually roll these things out that way. It's frustrating because PTO is one of the few benefits that directly impacts our work-life balance, and any reduction or change, even if framed positively, feels like a step backward. I'm keeping my ears open for any official announcements, but I'm not holding my breath for good news.

My manager said something about it too, but was also super vague. I'm in a different department, so it's good to know it might not be isolated. 'Optimizations' always makes me nervous. It would be helpful if they were more transparent about what these changes actually entail before they happen. I'm hoping it doesn't make it harder to actually use our accrued time off. Let me know if you hear anything more concrete!
