Morale seems to be dropping, anyone else feel it?

Just feels like the energy has shifted lately. Lots of whispers about 'efficiency improvements' and 'streamlining operations' in recent all-hands meetings. Honestly, it just sounds like a precursor to cuts, even if they aren't saying the L-word. People are starting to hoard knowledge and look out for themselves, which is a bummer. Used to feel like a more collaborative environment. Now it's just quiet anxiety. Anyone else feel like the company culture is taking a hit? Hard to stay motivated when you feel like your job security is constantly in question without any clear communication from leadership. It's making work pretty miserable, frankly.
