Severance package details for the Lebanon group

For those asking about the 79 people impacted in mid-October, the severance packages were fairly standard but definitely felt rushed. I spoke to a former colleague who was caught in that wave—they offered the typical two weeks per year of service, but the health insurance extension was shorter than what we saw during the 2023 rounds. It’s wild how quickly the company just shuts off your access once the meeting is done. They didn't even give folks a chance to say proper goodbyes to their teams. If you’re currently on a performance plan or in a department that isn't hitting those high-level KPIs, I’d seriously suggest downloading your contacts and backing up your professional work now. Don't wait until you're locked out of the portal.

It is honestly disgusting how they handle these layoffs. Two weeks per year of service is the absolute bare minimum, and cutting off benefits faster than previous years shows exactly how little they value long-term commitment. Getting locked out of your own computer before you can even sign off or exchange contact info with colleagues is cold-blooded. It feels like they just want to treat people like numbers on a spreadsheet instead of human beings who helped build their business. This company clearly prioritizes its stock price over the livelihoods of its staff.

I was affected in a previous round, and the way they managed the process was definitely stressful. While the severance is technically standard, the lack of a transition period or a graceful exit is what stings the most. It feels like they are trying to minimize liability rather than support employees during a difficult shift. It is always jarring to see how fast the environment changes once you are no longer on the payroll. I hope everyone caught in this wave manages to land on their feet quickly with something better.
