Saw the filing for the NYC office drop late last week. It’s always the same song and dance—they act like it’s just a routine adjustment to 'optimize business units,' but the anxiety in the Slack channels is palpable. My manager called an emergency sync for Monday morning, and we all know what that usually means. Does anyone have visibility on which departments are being targeted this time? Is it just the back-office functions, or are they trimming the advisory side too? I’ve been here three years and I’m starting to look at my LinkedIn daily.
