MMC - Slowing pace in projects/client wins?

Hey everyone, been feeling a bit of a slowdown across my team and some of the other departments I interact with at MMC. Project timelines seem to be stretching out, and new client wins aren't landing with the same frequency we saw a few quarters ago. It's not drastic, but definitely noticeable. Anyone else picking up on this? I'm wondering if it's just a general market correction or if there's something more specific happening internally. Trying to gauge if this is a widespread observation or just my corner of the business. Been hearing whispers about budget reviews, but nothing concrete. Curious to hear if others are experiencing a similar shift in project velocity or business development.

I've noticed a similar trend, actually. It feels like clients are being a bit more cautious with their budgets and decision-making processes lately. This could be tied to the broader economic climate – many sectors are seeing clients pull back on discretionary spending or extend procurement cycles. It's not necessarily a sign of internal issues, but rather a reflection of the current external pressures. Hopefully, this is a temporary phase and things pick back up soon.

Interesting you bring this up. While I haven't seen a dramatic slowdown, there have been a few instances where project scopes have been reduced mid-engagement, and some previously promising leads have gone quiet. It's hard to pinpoint the exact cause, but I'm wondering if it's a combination of market dynamics and perhaps some internal adjustments to resource allocation that might be impacting our speed. Good to know I'm not the only one observing this.
