Anyone else bracing for the next round of cuts?

So the Miami Gardens news hit the WARN tracker back in May and now that the July 14th date has passed, everyone in my org is looking over their shoulder. Management keeps preaching about 'operational efficiency' and 'realignment,' but we all know what that translates to. It feels like death by a thousand cuts. Is it just the satellite offices being gutted, or are we going to see another RIF at the main hubs before the end of Q3? The internal comms have been absolute silence, which usually means the rumor mill is more accurate than leadership anyway. I'm already polishing the resume just in case. If you're in a high-overhead product group, watch your back. Stay safe out there.

The silence from leadership is standard procedure before they drop the hammer. I've been through enough of these cycles to know that 'operational efficiency' is just corporate speak for trimming the bottom line to keep the stock price floating while morale craters. If they haven't said anything yet, they are likely finalizing the layoff lists for the hubs right now. Expect an announcement in the next few weeks before the next earnings call. Keep your resume updated and start networking outside of the company immediately because no one is truly safe when the bean counters start talking like this.
