Marvell: Any whispers about hiring freeze or slowdown?

Hey everyone, long-time lurker here. Been with Marvell for a few years now, and things have felt...different lately. Not hearing any official layoff news, but the vibe in the office and on some internal channels is a bit tense. Projects seem to be getting re-prioritized more than usual, and there's a definite slowdown in new hiring compared to last year. Saw a couple of my usual contacts in recruiting say they're 'on hold' for a few roles. Has anyone else picked up on this? Is this just a normal industry cyclical thing, or are others hearing more concrete signs of cost-cutting measures down the line? Just trying to get a sense of what's happening before things potentially get worse.

I've been seeing similar signs. My team's roadmap has definitely shifted, and some critical roles we were trying to fill aren't moving. It feels more like a strategic pause than a hard freeze, but the impact is the same – fewer new people and a general sense of caution. Curious to see if it's industry-wide or Marvell-specific.

Echoing the sentiment. While no official word, the recruitment team definitely seems to be operating with tighter reins. It's not panic stations, but the usual buzz around expanding teams has quieted down significantly. Might be worth monitoring Q3 earnings calls for any hints on strategic direction or budget adjustments.
