Marvell: Anyone else seeing increased workload with fewer resources?

Is it just me, or has anyone else at Marvell noticed a trend of work piling up while the overall headcount seems to be shrinking, or at least not growing? I'm not talking about an official layoff announcement, but more of a creeping feeling. Teams are being asked to do more with less, and there's a definite pressure to maintain output. It feels like management is trying to optimize efficiency, but it’s starting to strain resources. On my end, we’ve lost a couple of key people over the past year and haven’t seen replacements come in, yet the project deadlines haven't budged. Just wondering if this is a widespread Marvell thing or if I'm in a particularly squeezed department. Trying to figure out if this is a temporary crunch or a sign of bigger things to come. Any similar experiences or insights would be appreciated. Keep hearing about the macro environment, but want to know what’s happening *internally*.

I've definitely felt this too. It's like the 'do more with less' mantra has become the company's unofficial slogan. While efficiency is important, it's getting to a point where it feels unsustainable. My team is stretched thin, and I worry about burnout. It's frustrating when you see projects slipping or quality potentially being compromised because there just aren't enough hands on deck. Hopefully, leadership recognizes the strain before it leads to bigger issues.

Yeah, I'm seeing the same thing. It’s not just you. There's a palpable sense of increased pressure across several departments. While I appreciate the focus on innovation and pushing boundaries, it seems like the underlying infrastructure – including the people – isn't scaling accordingly. We're expected to hit ambitious targets with a leaner team, which inevitably means longer hours and more stress for those of us remaining. It's a tough balancing act.
