Hey all, been with Marvell for a few years now and things have been… interesting. Financially, the reports are always a mixed bag, but I'm less concerned about the stock price and more about the ground truth. Anyone else hearing anything, even subtle signals, about potential headcount reductions? Not seeing anything official, but you can sometimes feel a shift in the air – fewer projects, hiring freezes on certain teams, that kind of thing. Trying to gauge the general sentiment before I start updating the resume. My team's workload hasn't really changed, but I've noticed a couple of roles that were open for a while are still posted, and sometimes that's a quiet indicator. Curious if others are picking up on anything similar, or if it's just the general semiconductor industry jitters bleeding over. Just looking for some honest perspectives, what are you seeing and feeling on the ground?

I've been keeping an eye on Marvell too, and I get what you mean about the 'vibe.' While the financials can be a bit of a rollercoaster, I haven't personally seen any concrete signs of major headcount issues. My team's workload feels consistent, and we're still seeing some new roles opening up, though perhaps more targeted. Totally understand the concern about stability beyond the public numbers. I've been here a while, and while there have definitely been periods of flux, especially with acquisitions and divestitures in the past, the current atmosphere doesn't scream 'imminent cuts' to me. We've had some strategic pivots, sure, and hiring can be selective, but overall project momentum feels pretty good across the board. It's possible some specific divisions are tighter than others, but a general 'shift in the air' hasn't hit my radar.
