Marvell: Signs of a slowdown or just holiday quiet?

Hey folks, I'm relatively new here and have been at Marvell for just over a year. Lately, things have felt... different. The usual buzz seems muted, and a few projects I'm involved with have had their scope significantly reduced or put on indefinite hold. I haven't heard any official word about layoffs, and my manager is giving standard 'business as usual' answers, but there's an undercurrent of uncertainty. It's possible it's just the typical end-of-year slowdown and budget recalibration, but it feels more pronounced than usual. Anyone else picking up on this? Are there specific divisions that seem more affected? Trying to gauge if this is company-wide or isolated. Any insights from longer-term employees would be super helpful.

I've been keeping an eye on Marvell myself, and I've noticed some similar whispers. I'd agree that the end of the year often brings a natural slowdown, but the project changes you're describing do raise an eyebrow. 'Business as usual' can be a bit of a smoke screen when things are actually shifting. It's wise to be observant and perhaps start thinking about contingency plans, even if it's just to be prepared.
