Masco - Anyone else feeling the pressure lately?

Hey everyone, just wanted to see if anyone else at Masco is feeling a bit of unease lately? Been hearing whispers and seeing some internal shuffling, but nothing concrete has come out. My team's workload hasn't really decreased, but the general atmosphere feels a bit tense. Management seems more tight-lipped than usual, and there's been a lot of talk about 'efficiency' and 'streamlining' in recent all-hands meetings. Doesn't necessarily mean layoffs, but it's hard not to get a little worried. Anyone else picking up on similar vibes or have any insights from their departments? Curious to hear what others are experiencing or hearing, even if it's just speculation at this point. Trying to stay positive but also realistic.

I've definitely noticed the shift in atmosphere. The 'efficiency' talk feels like it's been ramping up for a while now, and while my team is swamped as usual, there's an underlying anxiety that wasn't there before. It's tough when you hear the buzz but don't have any clear information. Just hoping for some transparency soon so we can all get back to focusing on the work without this cloud hanging over us.

Yeah, the tension is palpable. Management's increased silence on certain topics is pretty telling, and the constant talk of streamlining is hard to ignore. While I'm trying to stay focused on my tasks, it's hard not to speculate when things feel like they're in flux. Hoping it's just a normal business cycle and not something more significant impacting jobs.
