Masco - Anyone else seeing increased workload without headcount?

Hey everyone, throwing this out there to see if I'm alone. Been at Masco for a few years now, and lately, it feels like the workload across the board has significantly increased. Projects are getting bigger, deadlines tighter, but I haven't seen any corresponding increase in headcount or even a hint of hiring to backfill roles that have opened up. It's starting to feel like we're being stretched pretty thin, and honestly, it's impacting morale and work-life balance. Anyone else in a similar boat? Is this a company-wide trend, or am I just in a particularly strained department? Curious to hear if others are experiencing this and what management's communication (or lack thereof) has been.

I'm right there with you. It's been a constant struggle to keep up, and the pressure is definitely mounting. It feels like we're expected to do more with less, and it's starting to take a toll. Conversations about efficiency and productivity are constant, but it seems to just translate into more work for the same people. Hoping things shift soon, or at least some acknowledgment of the strain.

Definitely not alone. The feeling of being stretched too thin is palpable. Seems like every department is facing similar challenges, with projects piling up and resources remaining static. It's a tough environment when you're constantly trying to meet demands without adequate support. Makes you wonder about the long-term sustainability of this pace and its effect on employee well-being.
