Masco - Morale dropping? Anyone else notice the shift?

Lately, the office atmosphere at Masco has been noticeably different. People seem more stressed, quieter in the break room, and there's a general undercurrent of uncertainty. It's not just one or two people; it feels like a company-wide shift. I've seen a few colleagues quietly updating their LinkedIn profiles, which is never a great sign. Combined with the slow-downs on some initiatives and the general lack of new hiring, it's making me nervous. Wondering if anyone else is feeling this dip in morale and if there's a reason management hasn't communicated clearly. Feels like we're all just waiting for something, and it's not a positive kind of waiting.

I've definitely felt it too. It's like the energy has just drained out of the place over the last few months. Used to be more collaboration and upbeat chatter, now it's just heads down and silence. The LinkedIn activity is a big red flag, for sure. Makes you wonder what's brewing behind closed doors. Hoping it's just a temporary slump, but it's hard not to feel the anxiety building.

Yeah, the vibe has changed, hasn't it? I've noticed the same things you're describing – the quietness, the subtle stress. It’s easy to get caught up in the rumour mill when things feel uncertain, but these observable changes are hard to ignore. Fingers crossed management has a solid plan to address whatever is causing this shift. We all thrive better when the atmosphere is positive.
