Masco - What's the vibe with projects and budget?

Hey everyone, Been with Masco for a few years now and things have felt… different lately. Not hearing about any official layoffs, but the energy feels a bit off. Project kickoffs seem slower, and I've noticed a definite tightening on discretionary spending, even for things we'd normally get approved without a second thought. It's making me wonder what's going on behind the scenes. Are others experiencing this? Is it a company-wide thing, or specific to certain divisions? Just trying to gauge the general sentiment. Any insights would be appreciated. Trying not to jump to conclusions, but the signals are there.

I've definitely felt that shift too. It's like the purse strings are much tighter these days. Even small stuff that used to be a quick approval now requires multiple sign-offs. Yeah, the project pipeline feels a bit stagnant from my perspective. Fewer new initiatives starting up, and the ones that are seem to be under a microscope budget-wise. Not sure if it's a response to market conditions or internal restructuring, but the overall momentum feels slower. I've been trying to adapt by focusing on efficiency and demonstrating ROI on everything, but it's a noticeable change from previous years.
