Been with McCormick for a while, and I've seen cycles before, but this feels different. There's been a noticeable slowdown in hiring across multiple departments, and some external contractors we used to rely on are no longer being engaged. Meetings about 'optimization' and 'efficiency' are becoming more frequent, which usually precedes some tough decisions. I've also noticed leadership seems more distant, less visible than usual. No official word, of course, but the whispers are getting louder. Anyone else in different departments seeing similar patterns? Yeah, I'm feeling it too. The vibe around the office has definitely shifted. Less buzz, more hushed conversations. Used to be you'd see new faces popping up regularly, but that's dried up. Interesting observations. I've been hearing similar things from colleagues in different divisions. The lack of transparency is definitely unnerving.
