Is McCormick's 'operational efficiency' just a euphemism?

Been seeing a lot of internal comms lately about 'driving operational efficiency' and 'streamlining processes' at McCormick. On the surface, sounds like standard corporate speak, right? But paired with some of the hiring freezes I've noticed in certain areas and the general pressure to do more with less, I can't shake the feeling it's code for something else. Are these just buzzwords to soften the blow of potential cuts down the line, or is there genuine strategic restructuring happening? I've seen this play out before at other companies, and it usually precedes some tough decisions. Anyone else seeing this and feeling a bit uneasy about the language being used?
