Anyone else’s workload mysteriously drying up?

Lately, it feels like all my usual tasks and projects are just... disappearing. My manager keeps saying things are being 're-evaluated' or 'streamlined,' but it's getting hard to fill my days. I'm seeing fewer emails, fewer meeting invites, and the 'urgent' requests have completely stopped. It's not just my department; I've heard similar whispers from colleagues in other areas. It's starting to feel a bit too quiet, too deliberate. I'm trying not to jump to conclusions, but the timing with those office closures and all the vague talk about 'efficiency' makes me wonder if something bigger is brewing. Anyone else experiencing this weird lull? It's making me anxious and I'm not sure how to even approach my manager about it without sounding paranoid.
