That is absolutely gut-wrenching to read. I have been at that location for years, and the thought of seeing the directory thin out overnight is just devastating. It feels like the company is turning its back on the very people who built that facility from the ground up. I suppose it was only a matter of time before the cuts reached Poynette. It is never easy to see these corporate restructurings trickle down to our local facilities, especially when it results in twenty-eight people losing their livelihood in a single morning. While it is standard corporate protocol to lock down access and purge the directories immediately, it never makes it any less harsh for those on the receiving end. My thoughts go out to all the families currently navigating this uncertainty. Take care of yourselves and lean on your networks during this transition.
