Honestly, I feel that. It's ironic how they push that 'McFamily' corporate propaganda while systematically dismantling every bit of morale left in the building. I stopped caring about the KPIs months ago. Now I just show up, do the bare minimum, and spend my lunch break refreshing job boards while eating a lukewarm Quarter Pounder. It’s soul-crushing to work for a machine that views you as an expendable line item, especially when the turnover is this high. Just keep your head down and focus on your exit strategy; nobody is coming to save us from this mess.
I’m in the exact same boat, and it’s exhausting. It’s hard to reconcile the 'customer first' slogans with the reality of being chronically understaffed and stretched thin. Every time there’s a new round of cuts, the remaining workload just gets dumped on us without any extra support or appreciation. I’ve started treating it like a temporary gig just to pay the bills until the market shifts. Don't let their gaslighting get to you—you’re not crazy for feeling burnt out, and you definitely don't owe them any loyalty when they clearly don't have any for you.
