Feeling the pressure - Any McDonald's employees seeing signs?

Been with McDonald's corporate for a few years now, and while there haven't been any official announcements, the recent office closures and news articles are making me seriously nervous. It feels like something is brewing, and not in a good way. Management is being really tight-lipped about future plans, and there's been a noticeable slowdown in some departments, while others seem to be doubling down. Just wondering if anyone else is picking up on similar signals? Is it just me being paranoid, or are others in similar positions feeling this uncertainty? Trying to prepare mentally and professionally, but it's tough when the information is so scarce. Any advice on how to navigate this kind of situation without concrete info?

I hear you. I'm not corporate, but I've been with the brand for a while in operations, and the vibe has definitely shifted. There's a lot of talk about 'efficiency' and 'streamlining' that usually precedes some uncomfortable changes. Saw some unusual reshuffling of tasks at my location last month, and the communication from regional management has been unusually vague. It's hard not to feel a bit uneasy when things feel less stable.

Been on the front lines for years and honestly, things feel pretty normal here, though maybe a little busier than usual lately. We're always hearing whispers about changes, but they rarely seem to affect us directly beyond menu updates or new promotions. Maybe the corporate side is experiencing something different, but day-to-day, it's still burgers and fries. Try not to stress too much, sometimes it's just the business cycle.
