We've been mandated to attend these company-wide 'process improvement' sessions for the past few weeks. They're framed as opportunities to find efficiencies, but honestly, they feel like we're being asked to document our own jobs to see where we can be replaced or consolidated. My calendar is packed with these, and there's barely time for actual deliverables. It's giving me serious vibes of what I've read about other companies doing before they announce major cuts.
