Man, seems like every other day there's news about a big company cutting jobs. McDonald's shutting down offices and talking about layoffs is just another sign of the times. It's starting to feel like a real 'layoff season' out there. Makes you wonder if this is just a cyclical thing or something more fundamental happening in the corporate world. For those of us who might be in the crosshairs, or just seeing it happen around us, how are you coping? Are you starting to prepare for the worst-case scenario, even if nothing's been confirmed for your specific department? The uncertainty is the worst part. Just looking for some solidarity or maybe some advice on how to navigate this climate. Anyone else feeling this palpable tension?

Yeah, it's definitely unsettling to see big names like McDonald's making these moves. It makes you feel a bit vulnerable, even if you're not directly impacted yet. I've been trying to keep my head down, focus on my current projects, and make sure my resume is up-to-date. Also trying to network a bit more, just to have some options open if things do get rough. It's a tough climate out there for sure.
