Yeah, I've felt that too. Things have definitely been a bit slower than usual over the last month or so. I thought maybe it was just my department, but it's good to hear from someone else experiencing it. I've been using the downtime to really focus on improving some of our internal processes and cross-training with other teams. Hopefully, it's just a temporary dip and things pick up soon. The quiet can be a bit unnerving, but on the other hand, it's a nice change of pace from being constantly swamped. Just trying to stay productive and make the most of it.
Funny you mention that. I was just talking to a colleague about it yesterday. We've seen a noticeable decrease in customer traffic on certain days, which naturally impacts the workflow. It's not a complete standstill, but the constant rush we're used to isn't quite there. I've been taking the opportunity to really hone my skills and experiment with some new menu ideas in my head, just to keep things interesting. Maybe it's a sign to prepare for something new, or maybe just a slow period. Either way, it's definitely a shift from the norm.
