Anyone else impacted by the Lawrence PA cuts?

Just saw the WARN notice go up for the 135 people in Lawrence. It’s always the same story—leadership talks about 'streamlining operations' and 'investing in digital transformation' while the rest of us are left staring at our monitors wondering if we're next. The communication around this has been abysmal, per usual. We got a generic email from leadership about 'optimizing our footprint' shortly after the news broke on the state filing site. It’s hard to stay motivated when you see colleagues who have been here for 5+ years just get wiped off the org chart in a single morning. Does anyone know if they are offering any meaningful severance packages, or is it the bare minimum? Stay safe out there everyone, keep your LinkedIn profiles updated and your networks active because it feels like the floor is dropping out from under us lately.

I'm sorry to hear about the Lawrence cuts. It is incredibly demoralizing to watch talented colleagues get pushed out while the company continues to tout growth and transformation. McKesson's leadership has a consistent habit of hiding behind corporate buzzwords like 'optimizing footprint' instead of being transparent about the human impact of these decisions. The total lack of empathy in their communication really says everything you need to know about how they view their workforce. Hang in there; the uncertainty of waiting for the next round is honestly the most exhausting part of working here lately.

The Lawrence situation is just another sad chapter in the McKesson playbook. Whenever they mention 'streamlining' or 'digital transformation,' those of us in the trenches know exactly what it means—more work for the survivors and a hollow email from an executive who hasn't stepped foot in our building in years. It is frustrating that these announcements always show up on a government filing site before we ever hear a word from our own management. The way they handle these exits is cold, detached, and unfortunately exactly what I’ve come to expect from this organization.
