McKesson - Anyone else seeing performance review changes?

Checking in from the [Another Department] side. This year's performance review cycle at McKesson feels unusually… intense. The metrics seem harder to hit, and there's a lot more emphasis on 'delivering more with less.' My manager, who's usually pretty straightforward, has been giving feedback that feels like it's setting a higher bar than ever before. It's not just my review; I've overheard colleagues in other teams discussing similar experiences. It makes you wonder if this is part of a broader strategy to identify areas for 'right-sizing' or if it's just standard corporate BS. Curious if others are seeing similar trends and how you're navigating it.

Definitely feeling the pressure from my end too. It seems like the goalposts have shifted, and the 'deliver more with less' mantra is loud and clear. It's making it tough to even meet expectations, let alone exceed them. Hoping this isn't the new normal, but it's certainly a significant change from previous years.

Yeah, the performance review conversation has been pretty jarring this cycle. The increased focus on efficiency and stretching resources is palpable across the board. It's definitely a conversation starter, and I'm curious to see how it plays out long-term for everyone here.
