McKesson: Anyone else feeling the budget pinch on team resources?

Hey everyone, been at McKesson for a few years now in [mention general department/area vaguely, e.g., a tech role/a business unit]. Lately, it feels like the purse strings are getting tighter. We're having to justify every single software license renewal, and any new tool request is met with an immediate 'can we do this with existing tools?' even if it's a huge stretch. Had a request for a new piece of essential training for the team get shot down because it wasn't 'mission critical' – pretty sure it would have saved us time in the long run, but whatever. Also noticing a significant slowdown in getting approval for even small ad-hoc consulting engagements that used to be a no-brainer. Just wondering if this is a company-wide thing or if my specific area is just feeling the heat more than others. Anyone else seeing similar cuts or increased scrutiny on spending?
