McKesson: Anyone else seeing a hiring slowdown and project uncertainty?

Lately, I've been feeling a bit uneasy about the direction things are going here at McKesson. There's been a noticeable dip in new hires across several departments, and a lot of open requisitions seem to be stalled or have disappeared altogether. On top of that, projects that were previously greenlit are now facing delays, scope reductions, or just general uncertainty about their future. It feels like there's a lot of 'waiting and seeing' happening, which isn't great for morale or productivity. Has anyone else experienced this? Trying to gauge if this is a company-wide trend or if I'm just in a particularly slow-moving area. Wondering if this is a precursor to something bigger, or just the usual corporate ups and downs.

Yeah, I've definitely noticed the slowdown too. It's not just a feeling; the HR portal is showing way fewer new postings than usual, and even the ones that were up for a while just seem to vanish. Projects are also a mess - seems like budget approvals are getting stuck, and nobody's really sure what's a priority anymore. It's creating a weird vibe, makes you wonder what's really going on behind the scenes. Definitely impacting team motivation when you're not sure if your work is even going to continue.

I can confirm the project uncertainty. We had a key initiative that was supposed to kick off next quarter, and now it's been put on indefinite hold with no clear explanation. It's frustrating because we'd already allocated resources and made plans. The lack of communication is the worst part; people are gossiping and speculating, which is never good for a workplace. Hopefully, leadership will provide some clarity soon, because this limbo isn't sustainable.
