Hey everyone, throwing this out there anonymously. Been at McKesson for a few years now, and lately, it feels like the ground is shifting. Management is talking a lot about 'efficiency' and 'streamlining,' but what that translates to is more work for fewer people and a general sense of unease. My team is stretched incredibly thin, and we're constantly being asked to do more with less. The whispers about potential restructuring and cost-saving measures are getting louder, and honestly, it's hard not to feel anxious. Has anyone else picked up on this vibe? Seeing any concrete signs or just feeling this general 'wait and see' atmosphere that's a bit unsettling?

Yeah, I've heard similar rumblings from folks in other departments. The 'efficiency' push definitely feels like a euphemism for budget cuts and increased workload. It's tough when you're already feeling the strain and then hear about potential changes that could make things even harder. Hopefully, whatever changes come, they consider the impact on the people doing the actual work.

Interesting to see this post. I'm not directly in operations, but the atmosphere of 'uncertainty' you're describing seems to be pervasive across the company. The constant talk of restructuring and cost-saving doesn't inspire much confidence, especially when we're seeing existing teams stretched to their limits. It’s hard to maintain morale when the focus seems to be solely on cutting costs rather than investing in the workforce.
